Compliance with law
APIS complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates — Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and the European Union. Where local law and our ethical commitments differ, we apply the higher standard.
Anti-bribery and anti-corruption
We do not offer, promise, give, request, accept or receive bribes — directly or indirectly — to or from any party. This applies to public officials, private clients, suppliers and any intermediary acting on our behalf. Aligned with the UN Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and OECD Anti-Bribery Convention.
Conflicts of interest
Employees and partners must disclose any personal interest that could influence their professional judgement. Disclosed conflicts are managed through the Quality, HSE & Compliance Department.
Fair competition
APIS competes fairly on the merits of our engineering, our delivery and our pricing. We do not engage in collusion, bid-rigging, market-sharing or any other anti-competitive practice.
Human rights and labour
We respect human rights as set out in the Universal Declaration and uphold ILO core labour conventions. No forced labour, no child labour, freedom of association, fair wages and safe working conditions across our own operations and supply chain.
Environmental responsibility
Every project is delivered in line with ISO 14001, EU environmental directives and our internal sustainability commitments. Waste management, recycling, environmental impact assessment and circular-economy principles are built into project execution.
Reporting and protection
Suspected breaches of this code can be reported confidentially through the Whistleblowing channel. Retaliation against good-faith reporters is itself a code violation.
