1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, to remember preferences and to provide information to website operators.
Beyond cookies, this notice also covers similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and tags, which can perform comparable functions.
2. Categories of cookies
We use the following categories of cookies, in line with established conventions:
- Strictly necessary — essential for the website to function (security, accessibility, basic navigation). These cannot be disabled.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language, helping the site work better for you.
- Analytics / performance — help us understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Aggregated and anonymised where possible.
- Marketing / targeting — used to deliver relevant content; only set with your explicit consent.

4. Third-party cookies and resources
This site loads resources from the following third parties, which may set their own cookies or process technical data subject to their privacy policies:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — for typography. Google may log access information; see the Google Privacy Policy.
- Image hosting — placeholder photography is currently served from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com); to be replaced with self-hosted imagery before launch.
- Google Maps — if embedded on the Contact page, will load Google Maps resources subject to Google's terms.
We will obtain consent before loading any non-essential third-party resources where required by law.
5. Managing your cookie preferences
Through our consent banner
When you first visit the site, a consent banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie-preferences link in the footer.
Through your browser
You can also manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies on your device and delete them individually or in bulk.
- Block third-party cookies, or all cookies (note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site).
- Receive a notification before each cookie is stored.
For instructions specific to your browser, see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
6. Updates to this notice
We update this notice when our use of cookies changes or when applicable law requires changes. The "effective date" at the top of this notice indicates when it was last revised.
